LSDC select Web CMS for London Leaders

The London Sustainable Development Commission was established in 2002 to advise the Mayor of London on making London an exemplary sustainable world city. 

The Commission is made up of individual experts from the economic, social, environmental and London governance sectors. Commissioners give their time voluntarily, promoting sustainable development, embedding sustainability into London wide strategies, and helping make sustainability a meaningful and understandable concept for all Londoners.

We designed and built the original standalone LSDC website using our i.content CMS platform. 

The Commission the wanted to launch the London Leaders programme to catalyse change - the kind of change that is needed to tackle London's most ingrained problems.

The website was further developed to inspire people to become London Leaders incorporating copy, images and video.  We adapted our i.content CMS to produce a website that allowed The Commission to manage all activity including applications to become a London Leader and a membership modules for the London Leaders Network.

Additionally, we created CMS-powered a flash-based tool to explain 'Virtual Cycle Thinking' - they way in which everything is connected.

The new website has shown a year on year increase in traffic of 300%.
