Commission chooses CMS for sustainable website
Sustainable development was a centrepiece of London's successful bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
From decisions on how suppliers and sponsorship partners are chosen, to promoting appropriate training and long term employment opportunities and tackling global issues such as climate change, the London Games are set to make history.
The Commission for a Sustainable London 2012, launched on 23 January 2007, has been tasked to independently assure London's 2012 pledge to host the most sustainable Games to date and its legacy.
The Commission required an informative, engaging website that could be easily updated to provide accurate information for the general public, stakeholders and to service media releases.
In addition to utilising the powerful core functionality of i.content, The Commission utilise a number of bespoke modules with the bespoke content management system to manage the site content. All enquiries that occur via the contact form are handled within the CMS. The site was built with future-proofing in mind and will enable The Commission to ensure the website can be expanded in the future.
